We are seeking a highly organized and patient-oriented individual to join our team as a Front Desk Receptionist.
As the first point of contact for our office, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations.
This is a full-time position in a physical therapy office setting.
Duties:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor - Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and provide information to callers - Manage patient check-ins and check-outs, ensuring accurate documentation - Collect co-payments - Maintain patient records and update necessary information - Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and scanning documents - Coordinate with physical therapist staff to ensure efficient flow of patients - Manage calendars and schedule appointments for healthcare providers - Handle inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required - Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer service role preferred - Proficient computer skills - Excellent phone etiquette and strong communication skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping - Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus - Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
